Home Builders Care

Home Builders Care, is a nationwide program that recognizes community service efforts made by individual home builders and their member associations, a service of the National Association of Home Builders, and is designed to bring national attention to the face that the home building industry responds to the needs of communities across America. Members of the home building industry not only build and remodel homes, they take active roles in the welfare of their neighbors.

Home Builders Care is the opportunity our industry has needed to tell the country that we are the people working and contributing to the little league teams, the Habitat for humanity, the Christmas needy families projects, and countless others.

The home building industry is concerned about the issues that face our communities and are actively working to make the lives of all citizens better. Home Builders Care will position the industry as an important player in resolving issues associated with inevitable growth.

Not a day goes by in America that home builders don’t pitch in to make their communities better places in which to live. Builders are familiar faces in their communities, setting an example of civic pride by reaching out for the betterment of young people, seniors, the economically disadvantaged, the mentally and physically challenged and other citizens in need of support.

For many years, the members of the Builder Builders Association of Bowling Green and the National Association of Home Builders have demonstrated that they care about their communities by contributing, time, money and in-kind services of behalf of neighbors, schools, places of worship, the work place, youth centers, homeless shelters and playgrounds.

America’s home builders have demonstrated in countless endeavors undertaken by builders associations that the spirit of community service is one of America’s greatest strengths.

Good deeds and acts of kindness within the community provides our members with a sense of pride, of hope, and of achievement in the abiding knowledge that home builders care.

BUILDING MORE THAN HOMES Builders and developers do more than build homes...they create our neighborhoods and communities. Each year, members of the building industry contribute their time, their knowledge, their expertise and their money to enhance the communities in which we live.

RELATIONSHIPS Members of the building industry are creating stronger relationships in their communities through active involvement with civic organizations, government entities and charitable contributions.

SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS Members of the building industry are also promoting health and safety improvements through building codes, maintenance upkeep, and preservation and enhancement of the environment.

TRUST AND EDUCATION Members of the building industry care about building trust and providing information and education for consumers, and training for tomorrow's home builders.
